Nigel Johnson is a UK based artist, researcher and academic. With a Fine Art background, his research interests include the nature of artificial intelligence, interactive systems, the macro-micro nature of the world and the role of human interaction and its impact upon the development and evolution of digital artefacts.
His research outputs and artworks range from large scale, real-time installations to the development of software toolsets as well as academic publications. Johnson’s work has been widely exhibited in the UK, Europe and internationally.

He holds a 1st class Honours degree in Fine Art from Liverpool and a postgraduate degree in Experimental Media, from the Slade School of Art, University College London (UCL).
